Leopold’s maneuvers and ultrasound examinations can be done to assess the basic conditions of the mother and fetus. During childbirth, NUWA™ supports automatic delivery and monitors conditions of the mother and the baby. NUWA™ comes with postpartum hemorrhage module to simulate severe bleeding caused by postpartum uterine atony. It is equipped with realistic internal abdominal organs, common lesions, and various bionic skeletal structures, closely mimicking the ultrasound characteristics of real human tissues. Using actual ultrasound equipment, the model enables comprehensive ultrasound skills training, accurately presenting normal and pathological images of the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, adrenal glands, pancreas, spleen, and other organs. This simulator features a highly realistic female lower torso with 32-week twins, boasting precise anatomical structures including the vaginal canal, ischial spine, and pubic joint to facilitate hands-on pelvic training. It enables the simulation of critical obstetric scenarios, such as twin delivery, fetal head impaction, interlocked heads, and umbilical cord prolapse, as well as instrumental delivery techniques - vacuum extraction and forceps application.
